Role Summary:
The Retail Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager to ensure that the team delivers outstanding customer service and fosters an exceptional shopping experience. This position involves assisting in the management of Sales Associates and Supervisors to drive sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze performance data to inform planning and strategic decisions.
  • Implement short-term and long-term initiatives that enhance the customer and employee experience.
  • Dedicate a significant portion of the shift to leadership responsibilities.
  • Maintain open communication with management regarding sales performance, payroll, and team dynamics.
  • Ensure adherence to service, merchandising, and operational standards as defined by the company.
  • Assist in achieving hiring and payroll objectives.
  • Support talent acquisition, training, and retention efforts for all store personnel.
  • Foster productive relationships with team members and management.
  • Coordinate with merchandising teams to ensure effective execution of promotions and product displays.
  • Oversee employee scheduling and payroll management.
  • Drive store performance by focusing on sales growth and managing expenses.
  • Address performance issues through structured action plans.
  • Establish a customer-centric environment that enhances brand recognition.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree or relevant vocational training is preferred.
  • 2 to 3 years of retail experience, including supervisory or management roles.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient in coaching, sales strategies, and operational planning.
  • Able to conduct training sessions to meet company standards.
  • Skilled in attracting and developing top talent.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Physical capability to navigate the sales floor and stock areas, handle cleaning supplies, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $20.43 to $24.03 per hour, influenced by various factors including experience and role.
