Job Summary:

Live Nation Entertainment is a global leader in live entertainment, comprising Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship. We are seeking a Security team member to join our Uptown Theater team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Preserve safety and order among guests and employees by circulating throughout the venue.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to prevent theft and maintain security.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment damage, theft, or unusual occurrences.
  • Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
  • Maintain crowd control and ensure safety by working alongside barricade security at concerts and shows.
  • Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program, which includes implementing programs to conserve resources and prevent waste.
  • Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience working with general security, nightclub, and/or nightclub security is preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to safely manage and redirect individuals during active crowd events.
  • Ability to carry up to 150+ lbs. on occasion.
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
  • A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
