Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Clatsop Care Health & Rehabilitation Center. As a Senior Care Nurse Specialist, you will lead and provide patient-centered care in our Skilled and Intermediate Units, working under the guidance of the Director of Nursing Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care Leadership: Oversee patient care with a focus on high standards and compassionate service, performing physical, psychological, and social assessments as needed.
  • Direct Patient Care: Administer IV therapy, medications, and treatments per physician orders, providing care for residents needing ostomy and catheter care, tube feedings, and insulin injections.
  • Team Supervision: Assign duties to nursing personnel based on patient and unit needs, providing leadership, guidance, and corrective actions to maintain quality care and policy compliance.
  • Crisis Response: Initiate emergency procedures when necessary, documenting patient care and maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Salary and Benefits

Requirements:

  • Current Oregon License as a Registered Nurse
