About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join Dental Care of Canby as a skilled Dental Hygienist. As a key member of our patient care team, you will work closely with our experienced dentists to deliver exceptional oral health care services to patients.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental hygiene services, including routine cleanings, exams, and X-rays.
  • You will develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, building trust and ensuring their comfort during treatment.
  • You will collaborate with our dental team to identify and address any oral health concerns or issues.
  • You will stay up-to-date on the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies, participating in ongoing education and training programs.
Requirements
  • A current dental hygienist license in Oregon is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required) is also necessary.
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and medical history documentation is essential.
  • CPR Certification is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems is highly desirable.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care is essential.
  • Clinical needs as required by the office are also important.
