Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Prevention Education Coordinator to join our team at HopeHealth Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive prevention education program for the Pee Dee Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a prevention education program for schools, community organizations, and faith-based groups.
  • Conduct training sessions for volunteer presenters and community members on topics such as child maltreatment, substance abuse prevention, and social-emotional learning.
  • Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and faith-based groups to access and provide prevention education services.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance standards to ensure the effectiveness of program components.
  • Represent HopeHealth Inc. at regional and state-wide organizations to promote prevention education initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, education, psychology, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in building relationships and interacting with diverse groups.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of child maltreatment, substance abuse prevention, and relevant laws.
  • Ability to function well under stress and be organized.
Physical Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to perform the following physical requirements:

  • Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone.
  • Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly to patients in person and over the telephone.
  • Vision: Visual acuity adequately to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
  • Other: Requires occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 10 pounds unassisted in normal daily activities and up to 30 lbs. for other required work activities.
