Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Project Engineer to join our team at PDS Tech. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading projects in the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with a focus on space planning and laboratory design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead projects from initiation to closeout, including planning, implementation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, planners, construction managers, stakeholders, end users, and support functions to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical expertise in pharmaceutical facilities design and construction, with a focus on clean utilities and cleanrooms up to ISO 7.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or architecture.
  • 10+ years of experience working in cGMP manufacturing environment, preferably in a project management or engineering role.
  • Experience working on various stages across the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, implementation, and closeout.
  • Experience in space planning laboratories and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities a plus.
  • Strong technical expertise in pharmaceutical facilities design and construction, with a focus on clean utilities and cleanrooms up to ISO 7.
  • Experience with biotechnology and/or cell and gene is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are necessary to guide and mentor project teams effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma and quality systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to cell and gene therapies.
