Key Responsibilities- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and register area.
- Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible to customers.
- Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of store products, including prices, promotions, and product features.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 15 pounds, and bend, twist, and reach frequently.
