Cheese Plus is looking for dynamic food lovers to join our team. If you love great coffee, charcuterie (salami and sliced meats), cheese, wine and beer, sandwiches, specialty foods, and all things delicious while working in a creative and independent local business this may be the perfect fit

We have openings throughout the store including BARISTA, SANDWICH PREP, cashier, cheesemonger, and more

We're looking for high energy, customer loving cashiers to join our team  Applicants must show excellent customer service and people skills, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to be a proactive member of a dynamic and enthusiastic team.

We offer training and mentorship opportunities for those who have an interest and passion for food.  Cheese Plus offers more than 2000 unique foods that have been hand-selected for our customers enjoyment. Our policy is to allow staff members the opportunity to taste and learn about all the fantastic foods we offer. Come work with us and you're certain to become a bonafide foodie in no time

Experienced retailers and/or food service please check us out. We have a number of opportunities for inside promotions to SUPERVISOR and BUYING positions. If you're a food lover with cheese, grocery, deli/cafe, barista, and/or kitchen experience we'd love to talk to you

Our approach to service and team building requires all team members to train and develop their skills in every area of the store. Most positions are initially focused in the Deli/Cafe and we expect team members to master efficient flow of Deli/Cafe operations before advancement to other areas of the store including Cheese, Specialty Grocery, Wine and more. 

We expect all prospective employees to be self-starters who show initiative and a strong sense of personal and professional responsibilities.

Applicants must be available mornings, evenings, and weekends; up to 5 full time shifts per week. Applicants also need to be available during major holidays throughout the year including the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve.

Our cheese selection is one of the Bay Area's best featuring hundreds of traditional and unique offerings. Our Charcuterie & Deli selection includes such notable items as local artisan and imported handcrafted salume, alongside our legendary fresh cheese spreads, salads and sandwiches. Our Specialty Foods selection includes the finest oils and condiments to stock a chefs pantry, and some seriously great Wines, too
