Role Summary:

The Senior Vice President of Lending plays a pivotal role within our organization. This position is designed for a specialized financial advisor in real estate who oversees a portfolio of clients at RF RENOVO. As the primary relationship manager, you will be instrumental in fostering connections with clients and driving business growth. Your focus will be on expanding your client base while providing tailored solutions that bring our clients' visions to life. In a market filled with conventional transactions, the SVP of Lending is tasked with crafting innovative financial strategies. Daily responsibilities include understanding the intricacies of each deal and collaborating closely with our loan processing team to ensure efficient deal management and underwriting. You will be accountable for nurturing existing client relationships, developing new strategic partnerships, and enhancing your portfolio.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of seven years of experience as a Loan Officer within a community bank or private lending environment. A strong commitment to exceptional customer service and the ability to meet client expectations are essential. You should be a passionate, goal-driven expert in real estate and lending.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain your portfolio of clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive client applications.
  • Document client narratives – Past, Present, and Future.
  • Create a Circle of Success for each client.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Review essential documents prior to drafting a Letter of Intent.
  • Collaborate with your Production Assistant to generate and deliver Letters of Intent.
  • Perform regular site visits to projects within your portfolio.
  • Support the Portfolio Management team in assisting clients with challenging projects.

Leadership Duties:

  • Recruit and hire a dedicated Asset Manager.
  • Engage in recruitment efforts for new Loan Officers.
  • Manage a portfolio of 60-75 active clients, averaging over 20 loans monthly.
  • Achieve a customer repeat rate exceeding 90%.
  • Lead training initiatives for Loan Officers.
  • Dedicate time weekly to coach and mentor junior officers.
