Premise Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient interviews to determine medical needs and document findings in patient charts.
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and weight, as well as assist physicians with patient examinations as needed.
- Review physician orders, lab requests, and follow-up needs with patients, and document services performed on appropriate forms.
- Administer medication, apply dressings, and perform routine laboratory tests on patient samples.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including sterilizing equipment and supplies, and responding to patient inquiries and concerns.
- Coordinate referrals for patients through insurance and other physician offices, and follow up with patients on lab results and scheduling additional tests.
- Graduate of a National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Licensed as a Practical Nurse.
- Current hands-on Certification in Basic Life Support, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on scope of contract services.
