Job Summary:Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, the LPN/LVN will perform as a licensed caregiver and assume responsibility and accountability for assigned residents/patients for a shift of duty. Nursing care will be provided through coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the resident's/patient's plan of care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and support to residents and patients
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of nursing assistants
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other center staff
