Job Summary

Capital Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Indirect Loan Processor to join our team. As an Indirect Loan Processor, you will play a critical role in upholding the Credit Union's mission by providing exceptional service to dealers and members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dealer Support: Assist dealers by telephone and via email to process their requests, including reviewing and processing loan information, and disbursing contract funds.
  • Loan Processing: Book Dealer Contracts, input final information, fund, and upload loans to DNA, and process dealer fees.
  • Customer Service: Respond to dealer concerns, including problems with contracts, documentation, and vehicle title questions.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform miscellaneous duties, such as processing Loan Payoffs, Lien Perfections, Vehicle Titling & Registration, Welcome Letters, and Missing Documentation.
  • Account Opening: Open accounts for new members obtained through Indirect Loans.
  • File Management: Scan new dealer loans into Velocity and file.
  • Inter-Branch Support: Assist other branches when information is needed from loan files.
  • Training: May train new employees.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality review audits to ensure accuracy of indirect loans.
Requirements
  • Education: High school education or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate an on-line computer terminal, including a good working knowledge of the core computer system, Velocity, DNA, Dealertrack, RouteOne, Allied CenterPoint, and email.
  • Experience: Working knowledge of products, services, and procedures needed to process transactions, acquired through three to six months of on-the-job experience, at least one of which is with the Credit Union.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical ability necessary to research and resolve loan questions, interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and efficiently with a diverse group of employees in stressful situations, and communication/listening skills necessary to effectively obtain necessary information to make lending decisions.
Work Environment

Office environment with moderate level of noise. Frequent use of telephone, copier, computer, fax machine, and other office machines. Prolonged sitting or standing. Frequent mental and visual concentration. Minimal lifting of up to 25 pounds.
