Overview:
KETTLER is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our operations.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician, under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, will be tasked with general upkeep, repairs within residential units and communal areas, and addressing service requests from residents.


Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple service requests from residents on a daily basis.


Address resident maintenance requests in areas such as HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and appliance repairs by diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions to restore services in accordance with established quality and time standards; escalate issues to a supervisor or external contractor when necessary.

Engage in various maintenance projects.

Prepare vacant units to meet market-ready standards through necessary repairs and enhancements.

Conduct preventive maintenance on all property systems.

Perform general repairs on property grounds, residential units, and building exteriors.


Exhibit strong customer service skills by treating residents and others with courtesy, addressing resident inquiries, responding thoughtfully to maintenance service complaints, and completing assigned work orders promptly and efficiently.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
Preferred EPA/CFC Type I & II certifications - Must be obtained within 180 days of employment.

Basic knowledge of appliance, electrical, and plumbing repairs is beneficial.

Must possess a valid Driver's License and reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the property.

Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on providing timely and accurate responses to residents.

Availability for after-hours emergency maintenance calls, including nights and weekends on a rotational basis.

Reliable personal transportation is required to respond to on-call emergencies as they arise.

Must carry a cell phone as required for on-call maintenance duties.

Ability to operate a computer.

Good verbal and written communication skills in English.


Physical ability to walk the property, ascend stairs, lift up to 60 lbs., climb ladders exceeding 10 feet, and perform other general physical tasks.
