Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Penn State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team and providing technical leadership on various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and direct a team of engineers to achieve project goals
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure project success
  • Develop and implement research projects related to communications and signal processing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges
  • Interact with stakeholders to communicate project progress and results
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in systems engineering and research
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering projects on time
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and communications protocols
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and SAP/SIMBA
Preferred Qualifications
  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • PMI Certified
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience with signal processing and computer networking
