Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Control Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cost control reports that align with project objectives, budgets, and contractual requirements.
  • Budget Tracking: Monitor project budgets, track and analyze expenditures, and ensure costs align with project estimates. Identify budget variances and deviations.
  • Forecasting: Prepare accurate cost forecasts, considering project progress and scope changes. Regularly update project managers and stakeholders on cost implications.
  • Change Management: Evaluate and process change orders and project scope variations. Assess the impact of these changes on project costs and schedules.
  • Vendor and Supplier Relations: Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential cost risks and uncertainties that may affect project budgets and propose strategies for risk mitigation and cost containment.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute detailed cost control reports to stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics, cost performance, and areas for improvement.
  • Integration with Other Functions: Work closely with project teams, schedulers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cost control measures align with overall project requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of project costs, change orders, and financial documents for auditing and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in cost control or project accounting, preferably within the energy sector or related industries.

Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of cost control systems and software, along with proficiency in financial software/tools.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cost issues and proactively propose solutions.

  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial tracking and documentation.
