Project Manager - Transportation

MSA Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Transportation to join our team. As a Project Manager - Transportation, you will be responsible for managing transportation infrastructure projects from start to finish. This includes project planning, scoping, budgeting, and quality control. You will also be responsible for client relations, including virtual or in-person meetings with existing and new clients. Additionally, you will design transportation infrastructure projects, prepare details, specifications, and bidding documents, and prepare technical reports and regulatory permits for projects. You will also assist with mentoring junior staff and construction observation.

Responsibilities
  • Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting, and QA/QC
  • Client relations including virtual or in-person meetings with existing and new clients
  • Design of transportation infrastructure projects
  • Preparation of details, specifications, and bidding documents
  • Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
  • Assist with mentoring junior staff
  • Construction observation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Minimum of 10 years of mobility/transportation engineering experience required
  • PE license required (WI PE preferred)
  • WisDOT project experience preferred
  • Previous client liaison and project management experience or a desire to step into that role required
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to work in a consulting environment
  • We are looking for a seller/doer that is self-motivated with a desire to be hands on
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
