- Operate utility machinery on-site while maintaining a secure environment for all team members.
- Adhere to established trenching and excavation protocols to prevent collapses.
- Position and adjust pipes and fittings accurately for installation during construction and repair tasks.
- Excavate and refill trenches to facilitate the installation of manholes, pipes, valves, and other components.
- Conduct routine and corrective maintenance on company vehicles and machinery.
- Utilize hand tools, small equipment, and other machinery as required.
- Follow established safety standards, procedures, and policies diligently.
- Assist as a crew member when not engaged in equipment operation.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand safety regulations, operational instructions, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is necessary for job functions.
- Possession of a valid Alabama Driver's License with Class A CDL; DOT Gas Pipeline Operator Qualifications; Plastic Fusion Certification; CPR/First Aid Certification; and strong customer service skills are essential.
