Responsibilities
  • Lead or participate in moderately complex technical initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large-scale planning of strategies and design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges and resolve issues while leveraging a solid understanding of technologies and procedures
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Requirements
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience in developing integrated and secure enterprise or web-based applications using Java/J2EE
  • 2+ years of experience with business process workflow software
  • 4+ years of experience with Spring Framework
  • Experience with developing Microservices, REST Services, and API development
  • Experience with unit testing of Java backend code
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with analysis, coding, and debugging Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, etc.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Kafka, cloud technologies, and automated deployment CI/CD tools
  • Experience with test-centric development methodologies, including Test Driven Development (TDD) & Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Camunda and NoSQL databases
