Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled State Tested Nursing Assistant to join our team at IntelyCare. As a State Tested Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in post-acute care facilities in your area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care in post-acute care facilities, including assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as toileting, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Check vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse, and alert supervisors to any abnormal readings.
  • Serve meals and assist residents with feeding when needed.
  • Change linens, sanitize surfaces, and perform other tasks to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Observe residents on an ongoing basis and alert nurses to any concerns or emergencies.
  • Communicate with family members and other visitors on behalf of residents.
  • Move residents safely and comfortably to and from exam tables, beds, and wheelchairs, repositioning them when necessary.
  • Offer companionship and engage with residents.
Requirements
  • Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
  • Knowledge of medical terms and nursing care procedures.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
