Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate pharmacy operations, including patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
  • Supervise and train pharmacy technicians, ensuring they meet state and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and external partners to resolve issues and improve relationships.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
  • At least one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous people management/leadership experience.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
What We Offer

Walgreens offers a competitive salary range of $22.50 per hour - $31.00 per hour, depending on location, skills, and experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
