We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our Warehouse team at Resource Label Group, Inc. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in supporting our Warehouse departments by ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, and work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to the production floor.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing stations or shipping departments.
  • Marks materials with identifying information.
  • Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Arranges stock parts in specified sequences for assembly by other workers.
  • Uses a computer to enter records.
  • Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
  • Drives lift trucks to transport stored items throughout the plant or to pick up items from department locations for shipment.
  • Maintains inventory records.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
  • 1-2 years of forklift driving experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
