About the Role

KP Aviation, a leading international supplier and procurer of aftermarket aviation components and assets, is seeking a highly skilled Product Line Manager to oversee the Airframes product line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Product Line Representatives, ensuring the successful evaluation, acquisition, and repair of assets within our material procurement endeavors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Strategy
    • Conduct thorough market analysis to determine purchase prices, anticipated revenue, and gross profit projections for projects.
    • Develop and implement pricing strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Inventory Management and Procurement
    • Manage inventory turnover and establish target pricing to maximize gross profit.
    • Oversee the procurement of stocked materials to ensure alignment with our financial objectives.
  • Team Management and Collaboration
    • Lead a team of Product Line Representatives, providing guidance and support to ensure successful asset evaluation, acquisition, and repair.
    • Collaborate closely with the Director of Product Lines, Sales VPs, Senior Leadership, and relevant departments to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Market Intelligence and Research
    • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the commercial aircraft parts aftermarket, including availability, demand, and values.
    • Track market trends and monthly lease pricing of assets, assisting in depreciation and residual value calculations.
  • Asset Acquisition and Disposal
    • Evaluate entire assets for acquisition and strategize to maximize revenue and profitability.
    • Manage disassembly processes, coordinate drop shipments, and select appropriate component repair stations to optimize cost and turnaround time.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Provide accurate reports on current market conditions specific to the product line/platform.
    • Assist the Director of Product Lines in valuing opportunities and providing relevant forecast data.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Develop a team of Strategic Buyers to review demand and inform investment strategy.
    • Support sales with price and availability of large package sales.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and image.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with asset acquisition and disposal.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
    • Knowledge of general employment laws and compliance guidelines.
    • Knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office applications.
    • Skill in typing and general computer literacy.
    • Skill in oral and written communication.
    • Skill in problem solving and decision making/analysis.
