**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Contract Specialist to join our research team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for negotiating research contracts, conducting coverage analysis, and managing clinical trial budgets under the supervision of our Research Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate research contract terms according to applicable laws and Cancer Care Northwest standards.
- Conduct Medicare Coverage Analysis and complete Cost Allocation in the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).
- Evaluate research protocols to assess resource needs, including clinical research staff time, investigator time, and costs from ancillary departments.
- Prepare internal budget and project estimated study profit or loss.
- Prepare sponsor budget and negotiate budgets with sponsors.
- Review study builds in CTMS for completeness and accuracy and make edits as necessary.
- Review protocol amendments for financial impact and prepare and negotiate budget amendments as necessary.
- Perform charge review in EMR and designate guarantor according to coverage analysis.
Requirements:**
To perform this job successfully, you must have:
Formal Education, Certification/Licensure, and Prior Experience: A Bachelor's degree or at least two years' experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Research Administration, or equivalent that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
It is preferred that you have:
- Experience working with clinical research finance.
- SoCRA or ACRP certification.
- Previous oncology experience.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
The hourly salary range for this position is $28.34 - $41.00, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits and a comprehensive compensation package to support your career growth and well-being.
