**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Contract Specialist to join our research team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for negotiating research contracts, conducting coverage analysis, and managing clinical trial budgets under the supervision of our Research Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate research contract terms according to applicable laws and Cancer Care Northwest standards.
  • Conduct Medicare Coverage Analysis and complete Cost Allocation in the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).
  • Evaluate research protocols to assess resource needs, including clinical research staff time, investigator time, and costs from ancillary departments.
  • Prepare internal budget and project estimated study profit or loss.
  • Prepare sponsor budget and negotiate budgets with sponsors.
  • Review study builds in CTMS for completeness and accuracy and make edits as necessary.
  • Review protocol amendments for financial impact and prepare and negotiate budget amendments as necessary.
  • Perform charge review in EMR and designate guarantor according to coverage analysis.

Requirements:**

To perform this job successfully, you must have:

Formal Education, Certification/Licensure, and Prior Experience: A Bachelor's degree or at least two years' experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Research Administration, or equivalent that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

It is preferred that you have:

  • Experience working with clinical research finance.
  • SoCRA or ACRP certification.
  • Previous oncology experience.

**Compensation and Benefits:**

The hourly salary range for this position is $28.34 - $41.00, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits and a comprehensive compensation package to support your career growth and well-being.
