Position Overview:
Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital is looking for a dedicated Breast Imaging Specialist to become a vital part of our Breast Health Center team. This role involves providing essential healthcare services through the use of x-ray technology to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical imaging procedures to accurately depict breast anatomy for evaluation by licensed physicians.
- Utilize professional judgment to perform services while adhering to medical ethics.
- Deliver appropriate patient care and recognize conditions critical for the successful execution of imaging procedures.

Work Schedule:
Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours bi-weekly, day shift.

Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of radiology standards and mammography procedures, typically gained through graduation from an accredited radiology program or equivalent on-the-job training to meet ARRT certification standards.
- Compliance with FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients experiencing physical and emotional stress.

Essential Skills:
- Analytical skills to effectively utilize knowledge of mammography techniques to obtain high-quality images.
- Familiarity with site-specific protocols, equipment, and computer systems.

Licensure and Certification:
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications.
- State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer (for Wisconsin locations only).
- Current BLS certification or completion within 90 days of hire.
