Job Summary

Advanced Technology Services is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, including repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Identify and obtain necessary parts, supplies, and repair materials.
  • Conduct independent maintenance tasks in accordance with industry standards.
  • Operate and maintain machinery, including lathes, presses, grinders, and metalworking tools.
  • Perform welding tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with 5S and cleanliness standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and analyze results.
  • Update records and review CMMS history.
  • Detect and analyze system control issues to resolve software, hardware, and configuration problems.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
  • Assist junior technicians and leadership in small teams.
  • Perform advanced functions as part of professional development.
Requirements and Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in a technical field and 3 years of related experience in the general industry; or 5 years of related experience in the general industry or complete the ATS Technician Progression Program.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid, and control systems.
  • Ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
  • Ability to use basic and specialized tools as needed.

The Technician Progression Program is designed to rapidly develop technical skills for technicians to advance in their careers. It focuses on junior technicians and develops them into mid-level technicians within a 2-3 year timeframe.

Physical Demand and Work Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/ fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance at heights that may require a ladder or elevator; bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl in confined spaces; and speak or hear.

The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must lift and/or move more than 50 pounds occasionally. The employee is regularly required to use near vision and color vision. The employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions and electrical shock risk. The work is typically performed in a factory environment and is very noisy. In the factory environment, the employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors.
