Job Title: Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at NovaSource Power Services. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software applications using various programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, ensuring it meets our company's standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the codebase.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software applications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Ignition (Inductive Automation) based visualization tools and automation.
  • SCADA system troubleshooting experience.
  • Development of APIs between multiple systems in varied programming languages.
  • Designing database tables with Normalization and develop SQL Stored Procedures, and functions in SQL Server.
  • Experience in SQL Server reporting services (SSRS) and SQL Server integration services (SSIS).
