We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Professional Visitation Coordinator to join our team at NECCO. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who share our passion for creating a safe and supportive environment for children and families.
Job SummaryThe Professional Visitation Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating supervised visitations between children and their biological families, ensuring quality services that promote reunification and positive relationships. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule supervised visitations in accordance with state regulations and family needs.
- Communicate effectively with families, foster parents, and outside agencies to ensure smooth visitation processes.
- Document visitation details accurately and provide regular reports to relevant parties.
- Provide transportation services as needed and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all involved.
- 21 years of age (in accordance with state regulations)
- High school education (degree preferred)
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and/or families
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Certifications and training in areas such as child safety, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques
