Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic A&P

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic A&P to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems for troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance to all aircraft-related production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions or failures of operational equipment
  • Conduct proactive preventive and predictive maintenance inspections and perform required duties in accordance with recommended schedules
  • Perform repairs and corrective maintenance to equipment with a high degree of quality and reliability
  • Set up and calibrate equipment on scheduled intervals
  • Input required data in CMMS system for machine reliability and control
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3 years of experience working with electrical controls and mechanical applications in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work any shift
  • Background in CNC Equipment and GSE Equipment a plus
  • Must be able to read electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of replacing spindles, ball screws, linear guide ways, bearings, hydraulics repairs, and precision machine/laser alignments
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management software relevant to spare parts management, work order creation, and Preventive Maintenance
