About the Role:

As a key member of our healthcare team, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Mental Health Specialist to provide mental health care and education to patients of all ages and backgrounds at ZoomCare.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, developing, and evaluating clear treatment plans. They will educate and coach clients on the intended outcome or adverse reaction of treatment options and practice evidence-based medicine to employ smart psychological practices and psychotherapy techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Educating patients on the benefits and risks of treatment options and encouraging informed decision-making.
  • Providing psychotherapy and medication management services to patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Collaborating with Talk Therapists and Practice Lead to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records to support high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • Experience in psychotherapy techniques and medication management.
  • Eligibility to participate in the Medicare program.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: $145,000 - $158,000 per annum, depending on experience plus bonus potential and additional shift opportunities.

Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent testing for an N-95 mask and must be clean-shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator.
