About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Nurse to join our team in the City of Columbia, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community.

Job Description
  • Provide direct clinical services, including case management, care coordination, and medication management.
  • Administer immunizations and health screenings; educate patients regarding required/recommended vaccinations, injuries, and diseases.
  • Conduct communicable disease surveillance and case investigations, communicate with clients and providers, and perform contact tracing.
  • Deliver communicable disease prevention services and resources via community clinics and home visits.
  • Manage vaccine inventory.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or associate degree in Nursing with additional experience.
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in nursing.
  • Valid Missouri Nursing License for a registered professional nurse required.
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $57,573-$70,814 annually, commensurate with training, education, and experience. The City of Columbia participates in the federal E-Verify work authorization program and requires pre-employment drug testing.
