Job Title:
Senior Level 3 Database Administrator

Job Summary:
Deutsche Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Level 3 Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our database support team, you will be responsible for operating the bank's most business-critical and sensitive internally hosted database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
Rapid response to incidents, providing dedicated support to all 'Change the Bank' and 'Run the Bank' activities for Global Database infrastructure
Advanced system tunings to application specific requirements. Systems standardization and automation
Database SME for critical escalations pertaining to Database Ops. This will also extend to provide support to vendor teams
Keeping the Database environment compliant with the technology roadmap, such as database upgrades, patching etc

Requirements:
Must possess in-depth experience with Oracle database from release 11g to 19c and Oracle technologies RAC, Dataguard, Goldengate, Oracle & , proficient in database administration: upgrades, patching and configuration management, performance management, troubleshooting, analysis and capacity planning
Strong experience in Oracle cloud and tooling such as Exadata Cloud @ Customer and Exadata Cloud @ Customer Autonomous
Extensive hands-on experience managing and maintaining Exadata machines. Strong exposure to Exadata hardware with a good understanding of compute nodes, storage cells, Infiniband switches maintenance, support, and troubleshooting
Experience in automation through scripting (Shell, PERL) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) etc
Expert level knowledge in physical and logical backup, recovery (including flashback technologies) and database migrations

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $100,000 to $145,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
