Job Opportunity

A reputable company, Hooker Creek, is seeking a skilled and reliable individual to fill the role of Landscaper for a private residence in Reno, NV.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the property's exterior spaces, ensuring the grounds are beautifully landscaped.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the property's exterior spaces, including lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas
  • Perform routine landscaping maintenance, such as mowing, edging, weeding, trimming, and pruning
  • Design, plant, and maintain gardens, flower beds, trees, and shrubs as needed
  • Maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering schedules and performing minor repairs
  • Perform pool maintenance (training provided)
  • Seasonal tasks, such as raking leaves, mulching, snow removal, and applying fertilizer and pesticides
  • Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general errands, mail collection, and washing personal vehicles
  • Report and concerns or repairs needed to property owner or manager
  • Coordinate contractors and service providers when necessary

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a private home landscaper
  • Proficiency with landscaping equipment and basic knowledge of plant care and irrigation systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Trustworthy and dependable with excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver's license (with an acceptable driving record) and reliable transportation
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings
