Logistics Coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless delivery operations, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for operation by loading cargo, securing items, and verifying shipping documents.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safe and efficient performance.
- Deliver orders efficiently, adhering to established time frames and customer needs.
- Maintain open communication with the company during deliveries to receive updated instructions.
- Document delivery, accuracy, and receipt of orders according to company procedures and report any discrepancies.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers by collecting feedback, resolving complaints, and communicating information back to the company.
- Provide product information and promotional materials to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
- Monitor truck maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintain necessary documents for safety, security, and quality processes.
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Perform occasional warehouse and counter duties.
- Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
Requirements:
- Prioritize superior customer service.
- Able to read maps and plan routes accurately.
- Exhibit accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a professional demeanor.
- Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact.
- Follow written instructions and documented procedures effectively.
- Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Operate forklifts in compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
- Lift, carry, and maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 75lbs).
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Work Environment:
This role requires working Monday to Friday from 5:30am to 2pm. The ideal candidate must be physically able to perform tasks that involve climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 75lbs, finger dexterity for activities like data entry and calculator use, grasping, repetitive motions, speaking, hearing, visual acuity, and mobility between locations.
Estimated Salary Range: $22 - $25 per hour.
