At GEO Reentry Services LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a critical role in providing education and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement educational programs to address substance abuse issues
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to residents
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date with new developments in the field of substance abuse
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in a social science or related field
- 6 months of experience in chemical addiction counseling or mental health counseling
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
