Substance Abuse Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at GEO Reentry Services, LLC. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing education and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver educational programs to promote awareness and understanding of substance abuse.
- Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions to support residents in their recovery journey.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of substance abuse and mental health.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a social science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least six months of professional experience in chemical addiction counseling and/or mental health counseling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
