Grantmakers In Health (GIH) is in search of a dedicated team member who enjoys supporting a variety of initiatives aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of foundations and corporate giving programs in fulfilling their missions and improving health outcomes for all.
We are seeking candidates with:
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in research focused on specific issues; managing surveys; and preparing, producing, and distributing written and electronic documents and presentations.
- Proficiency in database management, including generating distribution lists and updating records to maintain accurate and complete information.
- A bachelor's or associate degree accompanied by a minimum of five years of administrative or program support experience.
- An interest in health, equity, or philanthropy is advantageous.
GIH is a nonprofit educational organization committed to assisting foundations and corporate giving programs in enhancing the health of all individuals. Our mission is to promote communication and collaboration among grantmakers and others, and to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and effectiveness of the grantmaking community.
The Program Support Coordinator will:
- Offer administrative assistance to a team of Program Directors responsible for specific areas of GIH's health initiatives.
- Collaborate with other GIH staff across program, communications, and development teams.
- Support GIH programming for staff and trustees of foundations and corporate giving programs, including webinars, in-person meetings, learning communities, and sessions at GIH's regular meetings.
- Conduct research on various health and philanthropic topics.
- Work alongside Program Directors to design and implement surveys and assist in analyzing the results.
- Provide event management support for both virtual and in-person events.
- A competitive salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 based on experience.
