Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Saxon Global. As a key member of our business analysis team, you will be responsible for leading technical business analysis efforts to develop and clarify business requirements. Your expertise will be essential in developing detailed business requirements that will be used to provide necessary functionality to meet business needs.

As a Sr. Business Systems Analyst, you will work closely with other team members to develop plans, schedules, and deliverables to meet overall release schedules. You will also serve as a liaison between business units and IT, bridging requirements and solutions, assessing levels of customer satisfaction, and confirming expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define product strategy by working with cross-functional teams to determine alignment with corporate strategy, functional plans, revenue objectives, and user needs.
  • Maintain expert product knowledge using an analytical approach to identifying opportunities for enhancements.
  • Evaluate purchased vs. internal application development and perform vendor analysis, demonstrating the ability to identify business value and benefits and communicate to stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in face-to-face customer meetings, leveraging technical expertise to solidify the business relationship.
  • Translate business objectives into requirements to facilitate system deliverables.
  • Create various scope options dependent on priorities and cost/benefit expectations.
  • Document current and future business processes.
  • Perform walk-throughs of prototypes to gain approval for final solutions.
  • Participate in the definition of acceptance criteria and quality metrics.
  • Participate in post-project reviews with team members and clients.
  • Work with remote stakeholders and team members from various parts of the business.
  • Maintain project information and provide accurate project status updates to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6+ years of work experience in a technical, analytical, and problem-solving role.
  • 6+ years of experience in project management and/or business analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience researching new technical solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience writing clear and concise requirements and business communications.
  • 3+ years of experience developing use cases/user stories.
  • 3+ years of experience in process mapping and workflow optimization.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA or PM certification.
  • Leadership skills, including creativity, team building, and negotiation techniques.
  • Ability to interact and effectively communicate with customers on corporate and store levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of requirements and traceability, wireframe development, and the Agile development process.
  • Experience working on global projects and training users of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain flexibility.
