Our company operates a comprehensive network of 50 strategically positioned facilities, including waste-to-energy plants, transfer stations, ash monofills, landfills, and a fleet of collection vehicles. Annually, we process over 11 million tons of waste, transforming 6.7 million tons into renewable energy that powers approximately 340,000 homes. Additionally, we recycle more than 234,000 tons of materials such as plastics, paper, and metals.

We are currently looking for a Service Writer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the availability of parts in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance performed on all units.
  • Daily input of information into the computerized fleet analysis system (TMW).
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Prepare purchase orders for management approval.
  • Receive, tag, stock, and dispense parts to mechanics in accordance with corporate and regional policies.
  • Collaborate with accounting to review purchase orders for accurate invoice payments.
  • Generate various productivity and usage reports for management review.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
  • Prepare and assign work orders to technicians.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certification, along with one year of general office experience or equivalent training.
Tools and Equipment Used:
  • Office equipment including telephone, fax, copier, calculator, and computer.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Company information systems applications such as InfoPro and CFA.
