About the Job

As an Experienced Fire Installer, you will work closely with our team to interpret technical documents, supervise equipment installations, and ensure compliance with customer specifications and safety guidelines. You will also be responsible for performing installation/programming on fire alarm systems, reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals, supervising and inspecting the installation of equipment, completing necessary certification courses, and submitting required task-related documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Install, program, and service advanced Fire Alarm Systems at various customer locations
  • Interpret technical documents and supervise equipment installations
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications and safety guidelines
  • Perform installation/programming on fire alarm systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals
  • Supervise and inspect the installation of equipment
  • Complete necessary certification courses
  • Submit required task-related documentation

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with 5+ years of documented experience in Fire Alarm Systems, including experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with hand tools, test equipment, multi-meter usage, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices. Additionally, they must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, be able to perform physical labor (carrying/moving equipment/tools up to 50-70 lbs), work in unusual positions (climbing ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment up to 40 feet), and travel overnight as required.
