About the Role

At Johnson Controls, we're seeking an experienced Fire Protection Specialist to join our team as a Sprinkler Service Technician V. This critical role involves diagnosing and repairing sprinkler systems across commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps
  • Perform service and repairs on equipment for commercial, industrial, and residential applications
  • Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs
Requirements

To succeed in this position, you'll need:

  • 7-10 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements
  • Nighttime travel may be required
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to perform physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
