Code Enforcement Specialist

Associa is seeking a Code Enforcement Specialist to support our community management initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will play an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships.
Responsibilities:- Inspect properties for maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately record findings.
- Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person, and electronically.
- Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
- Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
- Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.
- Valid FL Drivers License with a clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle with mileage reimbursement included.
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms.
- Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.
- Ability to use technology in an efficient and proficient manner with tools such as smart phones, tablets, computers, and system software's.
- Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
- Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
- Knowledge of architectural plans and/or drawings at a proficient level.
- Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
- Professional customer service skills.
