Job Title: Annual Faculty Position

Job Summary:
Samuel Merritt University is seeking a highly qualified Annual Faculty member to teach pediatric nursing in our Accelerated BSN program located at the Fresno campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a dynamic, learner-centered environment that uses a variety of teaching methods to support the diverse learning needs of the student population.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach pediatric nursing courses to students in the Accelerated BSN program
Develop and implement curriculum to ensure students meet program outcomes
Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of the program
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the integrity of the courses across programs and the curriculum

Requirements:
Earned master's in nursing required, doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning, preferred
Teaching experience of diverse students at the baccalaureate or higher degree level, preferred
Unencumbered California registered nurse license or eligible for licensure in California
Experience working with leadership in healthcare and academic institutions and community organizations, preferred
