The Department of Emergency Medicine at UCSF Fresno is seeking additional core, full-time faculty members to join our team. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for patient care at Community Regional Medical Center's emergency department and teaching and supervising medical students, residents, fellows, and physician assistants.
We are looking for qualified board-certified (or board-eligible) candidates in Emergency Medicine with subspecialty expertise. Candidates must also have an active California medical license or be in the process of obtaining eligibility to apply for one. Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission.
Our faculty group consists of 50 full-time residency-trained board-certified emergency physicians, many with additional fellowship training. We seek candidates who are passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of emergency medicine professionals.
The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the HS Clinical or Clinical X series, depending on qualifications and interests. Our emergency medicine residency program was founded in 1974, with 46 EM residents in a PGY1-4 format and supported by UCSF and Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Fresno, California.
CRMC has 630 beds and serves as the Base Station for a four-county EMS System, providing medical direction to the National Parks Service. We offer a high standard, low-cost living with limitless recreational opportunities and spectacular scenery, making Fresno an ideal location for those seeking a balance between work and personal life.
For positions exclusively funded by the affiliate organization, Inspire Health provided a reasonable salary estimate for this position $218,800-$295,200.
