Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Master Control Tech. This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling facility access, as well as monitoring the facility, youth, and line movement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control facility access, ensuring the safety and security of youth and staff.
  • Monitor video systems and complete perimeter checks at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Authorize, monitor, and document youth movement, ensuring compliance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Communicate emergencies to the appropriate staff and notify supervisors of receipt of paperwork, court orders, etc.
  • Log all staff entering and leaving the facility and monitor the fence, fire, and security alarms.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year experience working with at-risk youth or in a monitoring/control role in an institutional setting.
  • Ability to think and act independently, with advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be in good physical health and emotionally stable, with the ability to move about the property and participate in youth activities.
