Job Opportunity: Beauty Stylist

The ideal candidate for this role is a passionate and skilled Beauty Stylist who can drive sales across all beauty brands by maximizing demonstration and artistry techniques. This individual will be responsible for selling the customer what is right for them, while providing exceptional one-on-one customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling, utilizing effective selling tools
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge to maintain expertise
  • Initiate service consultations by asking open-ended questions to learn customer preferences and needs
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by following up on purchases and suggesting new products
  • Grow sales by focusing on appointment-based selling, utilizing technology, and opening new Nordstrom Rewards accounts
  • Collaborate with vendors to identify key focuses and products
  • Work a flexible schedule based on department needs
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of Beauty industry experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
