Job Summary

The Town of Westford, MA is seeking a highly skilled GIS Coordinator - Water to join our Department of Public Works. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our GIS system and its related databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement GIS solutions to support our operations and projects
  • Manage and analyze geographic data to inform decision-making
  • Provide spatial analysis, data management, and mapping services to various departments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize GIS needs
  • Develop and maintain GIS databases and systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Cartography, GIS, or related field
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
