About the Role

Crete United is seeking a highly skilled Software Automation Specialist to join our Controls division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programming logic for building automation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead software efforts on projects, working closely with senior software technicians and other team members.
  • Develop and implement programming logic for building automation projects.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to support the growth and development of the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in building automation.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field preferred.
  • At least five years of experience working in the Building Automation industry.
  • Mastery of all responsibilities expected of a Software Technician level I and II.
  • Experience in implementing building automation solutions and writing software code.
  • Niagara AX/N4 certification a plus.
  • Knowledge of various BAS protocols (BACnet, LONworks, Modbus, etc.).
  • Knowledge of ethernet networking.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand design and construction documents.
  • Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including office and field environments.
