Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our Data Analytics and Automation team at U.S. Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing organizationally and delivering data analytics and automation solutions for the Electronic Payment Systems organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, script, test, implement, maintain, and modify automations of moderate complexity, significance, and risk.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and test cases, defining automation data needs across systems and coordinating test data.
  • Develop and execute performance tests to ensure expected automation performance levels are achieved.
  • Analyze and resolve technical problems, collaborating with clients and technical staff as needed.
  • Write documentation describing automation capabilities and operating procedures.
  • Estimate and define project timelines and tasks, analyzing and estimating cost and time.
  • Conduct organizational needs analysis for automation solution creation and implementation, participating in feasibility assessments and determining the best approach for automation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five to six years of relevant work experience with programming concepts, development logic, or automating simple to medium complexity processes.
  • Knowledge of data and process modeling, system and application testing, software development life cycle, application design and architecture, programming, implementation, change controls, and robotics suites.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Pages, including DAX code.
  • Knowledge of Java, VBA, JavaScript, Java, C++, Python, SQL, NoSQL, VB, or other configuration/scripting type technology.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud providers.
  • Robotics and/or Intelligent Automation software experience (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Work Fusion, Blue Prism, UI Path, NICE NEVA, or other automation technologies).
  • Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, project management, and teamwork/collaboration skills.
  • Adept at forging relationships, influencing others, overcoming resistance, and producing results.

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $116,600.00, depending on location and experience.
