Responsibilities
  • Verifying patient identity and reviewing medical records to ensure appropriateness of exam or procedure.
  • Conducting thorough interviews with patients to obtain medical history and assess risk factors.
  • Explaining procedures to patients, including potential side effects and benefits.
  • Setting up equipment and acquiring images as per script.
  • Reviewing images, documenting exceptions, and communicating data to radiologists.
  • Providing post-care instructions to patients and participating in quality improvement activities.
Requirements
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Radiology (R) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR).
  • One or more years of experience as a radiologic technologist in Radiology (R) or advanced certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
