About the Role:
Schenectady Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and record patient information, including vital signs and health details.
- Administer medications and injections as needed, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Treat and dress wounds and bedsores, promoting patient comfort and well-being.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including dressing and personal hygiene.
- Monitor patient food and liquid intake and output, maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
- Valid NY State LPN license and good standing with State Registry.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $28-$30, with an additional $0.75 shift differential for evening and night shifts. Our comprehensive benefits package includes opportunities for professional growth and development.
